Dissemination

Ensuring Use and Sharing Lessons Learned

Dissemination, or “ensuring use and sharing lessons learned,” is an important step in the CDC Framework for Evaluation. Dissemination is crucial for sharing information about your project with specific audience groups. A successful dissemination strategy should identify a clear target audience, key message, and key data and outcomes. Dissemination documents and products should always be concise and easy to understand.

Please see our Dissemination Methods page for more information and examples on how to communicate about your health improvement projects.

Technical Assistance

The West Virginia Prevention Research Center (WVPRC) is committed to providing grant awardees with technical assistance (TA) in selecting the appropriate strategies and reviewing draft products before final submission to the funding agency. Please reach out to Leesa Prendergast (eprendergast@hsc.wvu.edu) with any TA requests or questions regarding dissemination.
