Finding Wellness

Free 8-week program open to anyone in the community who is ready to make lifestyle changes to improve their health. Classes are offered in-person at WVU Medicine University Town Center (Tuesdays from 4-6pm) as well as virtually.

Class Start Dates: April 26, June 21, August 16, October 11

Health professionals coordinate the following activities throughout the program:

  • Cooking demonstrations led by local chefs

  • Tools to promote healthy lifestyle habits

  • Tours through the grocery store discussing cooking, recipes, and ingredients

  • Health and wellness topics (mindful eating, fitness, right size portions, and myths about popular diets and supplements)
